Student achievement

Our Forensic Science program strives to maintain high standards of education and professional experience. A thorough assessment of the students’ abilities is integrated in course curriculum and measured in their final year through the Honours Thesis Project. Beyond graduation, the success of the program and the impact on the student is further assessed through exit and career surveys developed by the Forensic Science program and the university.

Our undergraduate students have had numerous opportunities to present their work outside of the university, as well as publish papers in peer-reviewed journals. The following are examples of some of these achievements:

  • Journal article publications in:
    • Forensic Science International
    • Identification Canada
