“UOIT’s comprehensive undergraduate programs in applied mathematics and physics have provided me with a wealth of knowledge and a broad set of computational techniques that allowed me to thrive in my current studies at the University of Oxford. Moreover, the laptop-centric curricula of these programs enabled me to become familiar with a range of mathematical software that I now use regularly in order to perform real-world calculations, which are much too difficult, or even impossible, to be carried out by hand. UOIT strongly emphasizes undergraduate research and this opportunity, under the supervision of a faculty member, was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my undergraduate education. It allowed me to develop essential research skills and also meet and collaborate with other students and faculty from around the world.”
